Yeah, remember reading his name mentioned soemwhere in the Can book. As you say, bizarre - I guess it's like Renee or Renate ending up managing Sonic Youth or something!

Another good one would be the Alan Price Set's "Don't Stop The Carnival"

When I was about about 6 or 7, I remember being fascinated by the Beatles (this was around 1964/65) and I found a John Lennon "Button" (the little red button with just his face on it) and it was a treasured item that I still have to this day...

When I was 14, (1972) I was into Can, Neu, Eloy and Amon Duul II...
