Dunno if Guapo would fulfill your criteria. They reminded me of both mid period King Crimson and Univers Zero when i saw them recently.

I was surprised at how much i enjoyed their set as i'm hardly a prog head !

Why? Isn't there a Sundazed release of it still?
Dunno about prog really it's a bit early. Anyway better to get the Sundazed version than my original copy which was the one channel in both channels Psycho version. Think that's still talked about in collector's circles in terms of extreme carelessness.

You could try these blogspots
Prog NOt FRog
Orion AWakes
SAkalli
Ezhevika Fields
Time-Has-Told-Me (does prog as well as folk)
Lost In Tyme
Krautrockteam
Mutant Sounds

Unfortunately 8 Days In April folded at the start of the year after ages of having files he'd just put up to rapidshare deleted. That was a very good one while it was around.
Think most of those URLs are on .blogspot.com

That's pretty funny though the last few years I seem to keep buying these two records over and over again ...

"Old Geezers In A State Of Denial Still Fail To Find The Elusive Fourth Chord"

and
