never got made, according to the writer he took the idea to paramount , who didnr really understand the englishness of it and decided they wanted emma thompson to play kochansky and hugh grant as spacebum lister, the writer left the room pronto and its been on hold ever since

I used to love Red Dwarf when I was younger, now it makes me cringe and I realise how unfunny it is.

I'm looking forward to The Simpsons one but like the South Park shebang I feel it'll stretch it out too much and therefore lack the spontaneity that made it so good in the first place. It's ususally the case with film versions of half hour shows.
BTW, I don't really care much for R.D!

bollocks! Series 3-6 are great. Just watched series 6 all the way through for the first time and was quite literally laughing a lot.

Hehe. Say lovey as the french say. I actually prefer chris barrie and robert llewellyn in the show. Some great one liners, although i admit it sometimes comes across as a bit too scripted
