Zweistein reissue

The Zweistein album has finally been reissued, by Captain Trip - just came out at the start of last week. I was a bit taken aback by the price [$75 USD] but it is a 3-CD set, including lavish reproduction of the original mirror cover, plus the single as a bonus and an informative booklet in English, and I want it enough to pay that much [but not much more than that!]. Also the price from Captain Trip includes postage - at this stage it seems cheapest to get it direct from them. I just paid for my copy today, can't wait until it arrives!

Wow! I've been waiting for that reissue ever since the moderator at the Yahoo! group krautrockII made contact with Suzanne Doucet. Now that it's $75 and I've already been spending like a drunken sailor on Japanese stuff I think I may have to hold off for a bit...
Please tell us how it is when it arrives!

I got the cds last week, but haven't had time to sit down and listen with the attention it deserves yet. But I can say, the packaging is really awesome! It's a full 3-LP gatefol mini-LP reproduction, with the mirror cover and everything - all original liner notes, in German, English and Japanese, as well. There's even a mini-sleeve reproduction of the single, the music of which is on the end of the third cd. [Which I'm glad about because, cute as they are, I'm not a fan of mini-cds for practicality]
So, even not having listened yet [I've heard much of the album once before, so I have some idea - otherwise I couldn't have waited!] I'm pretty happy with it. The music is supposed to be from the master tapes, so I expect it'll sound great - I'll let you know if it's otherwise.
