....when the blurb says- "The audio has been painstakingly and lovingly digitally mastered"- I take it this was salvaged from a mint vinyl copy, as legend has it that Stapleton destroyed the original master tapes - although it does say that there is an explanation in the new CD booklet notes-
hmmmm- would be interesting to know
??

I want one! I can't believe Mr. Stapleton has finally agreed to reissue this. Anyway, when it says "The audio has been painstakingly and lovingly digitally mastered", does that mean the recordings have also been reworked? I wouldn't be the first time (see 'Sylvie and Babs...'). :-/

Yeah- perhaps he's still got some main parts of the recordings on some old spools (??)....unless the destroying of the master tapes was a myth-
apparently SS wasn't satisfied with the original product - a bit much of a reaction though to obliterate the original tapes!
The plot thickens!

i knew it was happening, don't know much else... i'll maybe stick mp3s of the orginal up somewhere.... i think it's a pretty good effort....
