colluesuem, collaersuem, collasuem something like that, Sabbath, Motorhead, Adam & The Ants [twice] and one of those sad 80's keyboard gonks whose name escapes me played there, it was a good night out as i remember, wild crowds, well at Sabbath & Motorhead, managed to avoid the rest, is it still there or have they knocked it down and put up a useful carpark or something instead

Cabaret Voltaire at Liverpool Royal Court on the Crackdown tour. They showed a Kenneth Anger film in the support slot. I remember my parents dragging me along to some horrendous brass band in Wrexham, but that's the best I can do.

I'm told by my folks that it was the Rolling Stones, but I can't remember. It's possible that I fell asleep and sh*t myself. Second may well have been Hawkwind or whoever else was playing at the first Stonehenge Free Festival. It gets worse after this, as I remember being taken to see The Hollies in the early mid 70's - I was too old to fall asleep and sh*t myself by then, unfortunately.

...it was the Cure 1981/2? somewhere in Milton Keynes outdoors in a thunder storm ...fat bob was doing his faith album at the time or was it pornography? Seems like such a long time ago. Twaz an odd sort of day and it didn't change my life in any big way, however it did make me realise that fat bob had good taste in guitars. He hadn't reached his pop star trip by then. (((charrr)))

awaiting a housing development after being knocked down according to JBLM our man at the scene, which is a shame as it seemed like a good place, and the couple of times i went the crowd was fantastic. Lizzt '83 was that the Thunder & Lightning tour, a damn fine show, John Sykes was a fine guitarist and i've always thought latterday Lizzy gets ignored.

Hi. I'm new to this site, but picked up on your comments about the Roxborough pub. Real shame it's gone. Do you remember any other bands in the basement. Friday nights with Dream Cycle 7 was around that time, late 70's, early 80's, at least that's one I can remember.
