Not forgetting our other famous sons.....John Bonham (Led Zep), John Taylor (Duran Duran), babe-alicious TV presenter Ruth England (actually the sister of one of my best pals...I could tell you stories about Ruth that'd make yer hair curl....) vaudeville folksters Cosmotheka, The Cravats/Very Things axis, Terry 'Tight Lines' Thomas, and just for KC......the legendary John Emms.
And they wonder why I moved to Florida.

I too was born in Headless Cross!
I used to buy sweets after school from Bonhams, btw.
And yes, their fat hairy sons used to come into the shop. Often just grabbing a handful of sweets from the counter and disappearing out back.
