Great band featuring the late fantastically great Phil "Snakefinger" Lithman, released two wonderful studio lp's "Kings Of The Robot Rhythm" and "Bongos Over Balham" there is also a collection of rare stuff called "I'll Be Home". Anyone see their Dingwalls reunion in 82 ?

Saw them in Guildford a few times (supporting String Driven Thing on one occasion I think). Excellent band :-)

Saw them loads of times 74 - 75 notably on the Naughty Rhythms tour with Kokomo and Dr. Feelgood and they were an absolute joy every choo choo cha boogieing time. Also featuring Mighty Baby Pink Fairy 101'er Jivebomber Martin Stone and top Attraction Pete Thomas. I have both their records and the CD, I like them A LOT. Missed that 82 Dingwalls thing and, tragically (for me), the Roundhouse ZigZag benefit with Mike Nesmith and Help Yourself. Snakefinger was a Resident tha' knows, along with Chris Cutler out of Henry Cow. Is what I've heard anyway. Glad you brought them up. Valve.

If you look at the piece of paper with the lyrics in the first LP, then barney bubbles has left a little hidden reference for the reason why the label came into existence. At least I am giving any adventurer into this mystery a clue which barney did not.
