Nektar's " Journey to the centre of the Eye " has a slight psyche edge...the rest not really....E Broughton is worthy but surely not Psyche !!...any calls for Todd Rundgen ?....early stuff...side 2 of " Initiation " ? Tx

I have "Journey to the Centre of the Eye" and also "A Tab In The Ocean" which has classicly hideous psych cover art. Should I even bother listening to them again? ;-)

i wanted to post my choice here, but you're so productive around here I had to get back six pages to find back this thread. The most psychedelic album I've ever heard so far is the one I'm listening to right now, it's buy Supersilent and it's simply called '5'. Absolutely mindblowing, extreme to the bone and spacey as hell and heaven together endlessly. Analog synth, digital electronic, free for all drumming and such a singular trumpet in the middle. Recorded live directly to DAT this is even more tremendous for that. I'm digging very fondly Acid Mothers Temple at the moment, but like Kawabata points out himself, they are a retro kind of music freaks, staring at Stockhausen or Deep Purple or occitan troubadourism don't matter, AMT is face towards the past with their ass contemplating the future. Supersilent is rather face up the future sky with their buttock gently sitting on the past. Future is now and it's called Supersilent!

Tricky going ointo trance onstage in the middle of a live set is pretty psych. Got him doing that on a video I taped off British tv about 3 Xmases back. Stevo
