It's the opposite in my household - poor Lard Boy has to suffer in relative silence. Years ago at a Rock City gig JC did, I warned Mr Debaser I wanted to get there for 8....'OOOh he'll not be on until at least 9.30' says Mr Debaser..I want to be there at 8! I demanded he'll be on early......
We arrived with me spitting blood at 8.30, the man was already in full swing and had been for 30 mins....don't think I spoke to the other half for a week ;)

Ah yes. Reminds me of the time I drove down to London village to see Julian play at the Astoria.
My car had a puncture on the motorway on the way down and my stupid ex friend, who I had with me, had already made us over an hour late.
We arrived at the Astoria and pushed our way to the front just in time to see Julian doing the last few notes of his encore.
Nice.
Drove straight back up to the Midlands on my own.
