I don't imagine many people have heard of him but he was one of my favourite academic types and certainly one of the most insightful - approaching subjects from unusual directions. '5000 years of Debt' and 'Bullshit Jobs' give an indication of his approach. One of the organisers behind those protests around the world about the inequality of wealth and the 1% and cancelling debt.
