Why?
In fact, why would we not if the national opinion appears to have changed?

Brexiters saying there can't be a second vote sound awfully like double glazing salesemen telling a previously underinformed and grievously misled old lady that it's too late to change her mind, she must pay, it's the law.

(It effing isn't the law. The law is entirely silent on the matter).

Just to be clear - that last post wasn't meant to be taken too literally.............

Can we all do that "told you so" thing now?

After yesterday's debacle at the erg meeting which was supposed to come up with an alternate plane to May's (but were forced to withdraw it as it was completely unworkable) moggy and boris have pledged allegiance to May now.

Probably just realised they don't have enough support for a vote of no confidence and they're likely to get chucked out of the party if they keep pissing about.

I think that's it, and the telly says they'll just concentrate in getting over the line for now and argue after that.

Ah, the old screw the country up, then screw it over after ploy? I get it!

Did I see a while ago Germany were offering citizenships or something? Might need to look into that.

You might need to build up an anti Brexit web record. Can't imagine anywhere offering citizenship to someone who's campaigned to damage Europe.

‘Make a success of no deal just as we make a success of a good deal’

That's our Prime Minister talking. About a major shrinkage in our economy.

Landed back in London in a good mood, and then I read this shit - ‘Do it my way or I’ll smash the country up.’ Parliament has truly taken leave of its senses if it allows this to continue. It’s a mass psychosis.

An archaeologist on Twitter hits the spot:

"Listening to EU politicians, it strikes me that England is the toddler of Europe."

It's a straight choice now between admitting that they were wrong about almost everything or doubling down on the nonsense that the EU has been anything other than consistent & transparent throughout. Very hard to admit that your entire career was built on jingoistic ignorance.
