I don’t think it’s gonna be a change for the better for the majority, but didn’t we kinda know that when we voted?

48% did then. A lot more do now.

Yeah "a lot more do now." Yeah we can all see the future.

Will the banks still be robbing us? Yes.

Will the Taxman still be robbing us? Yes.

Will the people of the UK still be very glad they didn't join the Euro Currency Clusterf*ck? Oh yes!

Will the UK still continue the race-to-the-bottom which Europe started by destroying the UK Manufacturing Industry and replacing it with a minimum-wage-service-based-zero-houred-non-job fast-food delivery service economy we are all triumphantly riding the wave of? Oh yes.

The only fight being voiced is the determination of supermarket vegetable and salad farms in the SE of England to whimper loudly about being unable to attract or use seasonal migratory, cheap Eastern European labour as they can now (you can pay them even less by using the gangmaster systems and including the hotbedding of a multiply-shared caravan at the side of the carrot fields).

Aside from that... all the countries will still be in the same places that they have always been. Though there have been moves to bring Turkey into the EU. So the vaunted EU Army will be defending and drawn into the Middle East just as they tried to draw the EU Army into defending Ukrainian Nazis. Now there is a clusterf*ck of EPIC proportions.

Who's pulling your strings baby?

Plus ça change...

The race to the bottom was a Tory plan as I recall.

Because I hate foreigners.
Just kidding!
I believe power should be as decentralised as possible as I am kind of an anarchist. I'm deeply unhappy with the European commission. It's made up of the classic fat white middle class European ruling elite, probably because they are not elected.

Problem with that issue is that the Commission are essentially the EU civil servants. We have them in this country, they do a job so no actual reason why they would be elected. If you favour decentralised govt then England really needs to devolve it's own parliament and the UK essentially needs to end with all 4 nations having independent powers.
