Just let it play out, dude. There's no need for all this power-play malarkeying about. And you know it's more about that than damage control/protecting people's feelings. It's the joy of getting in the last word. You could probably argue for hours with my aunt. She always has to wangle in one last "Right!" whenever you're going at it with her. Lovely lady, though. A little bit extremely racist, but lovely.

Anyway, you know about the nature of subjectivity and all that: one man's hateful, diatribe-laden cluster-fuck is another's heartfelt political debate. Maybe you cut people off before they got to the kiss and make up part, causing more hateful, diatribe-laden cluster-fuckery? Let it play out. Else, nige start your own threads whenever you see people start to respond to a dhaj-authored thread, then steer the traffic there. No matter what the agenda, no one person here has the right to dictate the terms of all political discussion just 'cause they've found a new lock tool to play.
