Anna Soubry on Sunday Politics:

"I don't agree with the DUP on gay, lesbian, transgender, abortion & women's rights. But if we can put those differences aside..."

Not as bad as Fallon on Marr: "We have more in common with the DUP than other parties".

It's quite a relief that she's made Gove Secretary of State for Environment, as far as I know he's not a climate change denier (unless it became politically expedient to become one).

Presumably she wanted that job filled before the DUP get to pick their cabinet posts :/

I guess so, but a few weeks ago we reported "that nice Mr Gove has urged that we “Slash EU regulations on wildlife protection and drug safety trials after Brexit“.".
There's something of the night about him.

This week has been like watching a crap funeral in slow motion. Theresa May is the woman who shat in her own handbag and is now in the regrettable position of having to carry the handbag at the funeral with her purse and mints in alongside the massive stinky turd. The words "clusterfuck" and "omnishambles" continually spring to mind.
Even today, the DUP have said they have not made any deal with The Tories. Everyone in Northern Ireland is aware (though not many in Wales, Scotland or England will be) that any deal with the DUP breaks the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. We are now talking a shitstorm of immense proportions and the splashback... imagine Theresa May being powerhosed with the contents of a large septic tank for the next twenty years.
Theresa needs Malcolm badly. But I dont think even Malcolm Tucker could spin this tsunami of diarrhea into Butterscotch Angel Delight.

Very eloquent! Peter Hain said as much in less colourful words in an interview this morning. I'm afraid I've switched off now, listening to the news is a new form of slow torture. I said in a post before the GE that Theresa May was rapidly becoming despised - that was when certain others were singing her praises and telling me I was a left-wing ranter, they seem to have gone quiet now. And she actually is a despised politician. And I actually feel sort of sorry for her - her sense of duty won't let her walk away, if she doesn't crack under the strain of it all I would like to say she has earned a smidgen of respect from me. Then I remember what her and her cronies have done, are doing, to our country and come to my senses.

Socialism is still relevant in England.

Weirdly it looks like the Scots voting for the Tories might keep them in power nationally. Hope I'm wrong.
If the Scots dumped the SNP and voted Labour we'd have a proper government.

If Labour voters in Scotland had voted Labour instead of voting Tory you would have a Labour Govt. If more people in England voted Labour you'd have a Labour Govt. Let a Scottish party run Scotland let a British party run Westminster. Why dump the SNP when Labour have continually behaved like the Tories and done nothing for Scotland.

Better not forget the Liberals their vote collapsed all together in some seats especially in Gordon. 10,000 of their crowd voted Tory.

Remember during IndyRef 1 the Tory/RecTory alliance colluded together. They still do.

NO surprise they are connected to the hip of the Orange Lodge, like Labour, in the Central Belt.

Yes, that's the best way to judge her.
