What people seem to forget is that Labour lost two elections in 2010 and 2015 before Corbyn was leader! Labour weren't even electable then but at least now they've got a huge swelling of members and public support.

If he quits I can see a lot of members going


The Consituency Labour Parties, comprising of grass roots members among others, selected a swathe of Tory-lite non-socialists to stand for election. The members than elected a left-leaning democratic socialist to lead them. It is a bit of a fuck-up. If he wins the vote & stays, as is likely, there will be no effective opposition until the next election. Will the CLPs then deselect those New Labour types for Corbynites? Could get worse before it gets better. We'll see if Labour has the stomach to see it through.
