And here's a reply to it. Is this just yet another latest yearly sensation at SH?

Well being a sceptic, I do feel more info is needed. For some reason 17th century teeth and Gary Denke goes through my mind.
I think proof either way can never be found and that 'media news' is just that.
But it is an interesting flutter of speculation in an otherwise miserable period of life........

These wrecked and buried 'possible circles' are certainly interesting, to say the least. Seen quite a few in my time and have left thinking 'are you sure?' The Mam C and I didn't venture here when visiting the excellent nearby Bedd yr Afanc some years back precisely because of the lack of above-ground features. Would be beneficial for a balanced view to understand the pros and cons, since MPP does have a bit of a reputation - does he not? - which clearly galvanises opinion.

The subject of Stonehenge always elicits controversy and I can understand why, but I've never understood the antipathy towards MPP. Is it "science-led"?
I saw him at a lecture at Leicester University 5 or 6 years ago, arranged by the Leicestershire Field-walkers Group and the first thing he acknowledged when he got on his feet was that the audience was peppered with sceptics, not of his subject, but HIM.
In my experience, that's in the nature of archaeological endeavour. I just don't understand why it's gets so personal.
