Well I do mostly like a modern stone circle. When all is said and done they evoke something ancient and enduring. The Eisteddfod ones in north Wales and Anglesey spring to mind. My personal favourite is in the John Betjeman Park, Wantage, Oxfordshire - erected with sarsen stones, a perfect tribute to the 20th century poet.
