Petition and information in opposition to current plans for the World Heritage Area and Stonehenge itself.

https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-stonehenge-world-heritage-site

The case for potentially poor treatment of Mesolithic and Paleolithic material during proposed tunnel development in the Salisbury Plain (as evidenced by attitudes in Consultation to the site of Blick Meads) is just among many reasons to be skeptical about the proposed 'mitigation works'.

There are many other reasons to doubt the benefits and costs of the whole scheme, heritage and otherwise.

Please consider signing the petition, at least so the highest scrutiny is given to otherwise obscure aspects of the scheme, or even if this road scheme is really worth doing at all now.

Thank you.
