For Hunebedden lovers
Nov 17, 2017, 14:04
I met this man during a trip around the Hunebedden. It was a freezing cold morning and he was sat on a rock with just sandals on his feet. He got up as I passed and said I was late he had been waiting for me and just carried on walking next to me. We spent the morning together visiting a few of the Hunebedden and then back to his house to show me his theories on the ancient track ways in the area and the link to the swan and the rabbit. He knew all about me, where I had parked the van, where I had been, how? When I left he gave me a 'powerful stone' with a tiny hole in it, said it would look after me until it was time, then it would open up a window to the other world where I was free to decide if I wanted to go through or not. Any way I came across a couple of articles about him on the internet, anyone visiting Eext look out for him, in my eyes a real wizard. The film was from 2008 so clearly looking older and frailer when I met him. Why doesn't the world have more gentle people like him

Wow, that's a great tale. Must admit, if some daffy old git fel into step with me when i was out and about visiting places, and knew a bit about me, I'd probably develop the screaming willies before long. Seems a nice guy, though I don't speak a word of Dutch, so have no Idea of his theories. Do like his artworks, I used to do abstract stuff inspired by megaliths etc... years ago, but sadly, don't seem to anymore. Does he hang around the one barrow, or does he do a different one each day?
