Henge uncovered in Newbold On Stour

I'm sure you all know about this already, but if ya don't, it's an interesting find. Probably nearset henge found to West Mids I can recall besides Condicote, and those near Nuneaton.

That's great, hadn't seen it before. Have to have a proper look at where this is.

Condicote is probably the least impressive henge I've ever been to :)

Ha ha, yeah, Condicote is a bit of a let down. Doesn't a road bisect it or something? Mind you, if you went looking for Fussels Lodge Long Barrow, the experience would be similar (ie. it's not there anymore).

Yep, a round and centuries of the plough :)

I've been to far too many ploughed down Cotswolds barrows, why do you think I spend so much time in Wales?

Do love Wales. The only problem is that every tump or hillock looks promising and inviting in terms of 'is it a?'.
