Still Life With Roses (Gargoyle Remixes) - Mark Lanegan Band
Gargoyle is probably my fave LP of 2017 and I'm quite partial to a good remix so I was looking forward to listening to this. Side one is OK, but side two - consisting mainly of two lengthy, clunky, ill-fitting Andrew Weatherall 90's dance remixes - is pretty dire to such a degree that even listening to it once left me in danger of being put off the original version. This from someone who likes a lot of 90's dance remixes, too.
