One of the guitarists in YYN, Adrian, studied at Liverpool poly at that time too, so they were fairly NW based. I bumped into his ex girlfriend a few weeks back in Wirral. He was a big TG fan too.

Always thought they had a good sound. Funny when they supported Test Dept at the Liverpool Uni about 1984/85 and they did a bit of metal bashing during their set!
