As did all the leaders of the "coup". None of them voted against ESA cuts either (just a cowardly abstain from them).

Their voting records are appalling, it's hardly any wonder none of them are coming forward yet as a challenger! #chickencoup is trending on twitter as it's honestly the worst, most useless coup ever!

I have a theory about Benn, he's had to live under his father's shadow, which I think may have affected his decision making. So desperate to be his own man he vote against anything his father would have voted for, regardless of the consequences. Not sure if I should pity him or punch him in the face!

It's heartbreaking how easy it is to use the media to hector others into submission. Luckily, Corbyn doesn't look in the least inclined to submit to anyone.

His Say No To Hate Crime speech was inspirational, in a quotidian kind of way. God, I hate politics, but he's a good man contending with a media full of unmitigated arsewipes, The Guardian especially. Here's the speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnwfCnQwhqg Naturally, his supposed attempted lashing out at (or, in reality, um...turning around to face) a journalist has garnered more coverage.

The journalist herself posted on Twitter that he didn't lunge at her, totally blown out of proportion

Well if they keep throwing things at him, something has to stick surely.

His incompetence at being a right wing labourite or a neoliberal seems to be enough of an excuse for some.

& god, his ability as a gardener. Really should be taken into account.

Anything else? His poor health was one last week wasn't it? Oh no we need to remove this onerous burden of things from him before it affects his health?
