Firstly, JoAnne would like to thank everyone who sent their best wishes after the birth of Artemis. They are both doing fine, and JoAnne should be back with us on a part time basis early in the New Year. And I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome. Although I have been working for Head Heritage for the past couple of years, JoAnne had dealt with most of the correspondence so I never really made much personal contact with any of you. JoAnne did say that everyone is extremely nice and I’m happy to find that this is true. This is a good opportunity to introduce you to a new member of the HH team: Hav.
I feel particularly lucky to have Hav around here because he knows so much about music, megaliths and environmental issues. If ever I have to deal with a question that I can’t answer, Hav almost certainly can.
Our apologies to all of you who are waiting for the Love Peace & Fuck vinyl. We have been told that we can expect it some time this week BUT we have heard that before so I won’t believe it until I see it. This delay has nothing to do with Head Heritage and we are not the only victims of a suddenly regenerated vinyl industry. As soon as it has arrived, we’ll get it straight on to the Merchandiser and put a note here and in H2H.
We thought the Cornucopea CD was long gone but we had a pleasant surprise when several boxes were recently found and returned to us. We still get loads of requests for this CD, and so we’re very pleased that we’ll be able to oblige those who wish to have it. It’ll be on the Merchandiser in the next few days.
If you plan to order something from the Merchandiser in time for Xmas, here are the last posting dates:
Outside Europe: 3rd December
Within Europe: 10th December
UK: 18th December
[The exception is The Modern Antiquarian outside the UK: Because this book is so heavy, our advice is that it is already too late to order in time for Xmas. Within the UK, 12th December by Parcel Post.]
Finally, we are receiving a lot of messages expressing concern over Julian’s throat problems. Just to say that he is continuing vocal therapy and making progress. We are hoping that everything will be back to normal soon. Julian is planning to do some one-off shows next year (but no tour). We’ll give you more details once we know them.
Best wishes,
Wendy H
