Call it the roots of High Rise and Mainliner; this reissue on Japan's enigmatic Poor Sound Factory (or Psychedelic Speed Freaks label depending on who you talk to) shreds in ridiculous, over-the-top lo-fidelity guitar wreckage. The notes are completely in Japanese (as are the song titles), so little to no info is known on this end, but apparently these tracks date back to 1978, and the group did appear with High Rise on one of the latter's La Musica cassette releases as a tribute to Gasaneta. Like High Rise, Gasaneta dealt with amphetamine, high speed attack, with most sounds counting off with 4 drumstick clicks and plunging into complete chaos. Gutteral, gobbledy-gook vocals, insane guitar solos that sounded like they were being played by someone with oven mitts, actually trying to pull the strings off the guitar body rather than forming notes, all at 200 MPH. The Japanese Indepenedent Music book said it best: "Murky intensity, twice-fried brainburn, and thicky vomited aggression from beyond the grave!!"
