I saw The Longcut live last weekend and they were great, mixing old faves like Transition off their debut LP with new stuff off their long-awaited (9 yrs!!) new album. Good to have them back.

Orbit – Man Duo
I saw this in my local record shop a couple of months back and loved the simplistic, post-punk looking LP cover of some flats. I tried to make a mental note of their name to look them up but forgot what they were called. Luckily the lovely fella in said record shop somehow found what I was looking for after me giving him the sketchiest, dodgiest description I could manage. And it's a pretty decent electro-pop set.
