Bob Wakelin RIP?

Just heard Bob Wakelin of Modern Eon passed away. Can anyone give confirmation of this?

According to a number of his friends on FB it is sadly apparently true

Will have to do a tribute on my radio show. Modern Eon were more of a band that did great b-sides... Never got hold of their album though sadly.

Sadly I can confirm. I was FB friends with him through a good friend who knew him. He was an absolutely lovely bloke, sharp witted, great taste in music, good politics and bore his illness in recent years with a combination of humour, defiance and nonchalance! Top bloke - Thoughts with his family & friends
