Very belated Happy New Year to all, hope ya'll had a blast over the festive season. Spent the day in KC's part of the world today. Long walk and beautiful Winter sunshine up on the Long Mynd today, but soooooo cold, even with my winter hiking layers (y'know, when your perspiration cools, and you get the chills a little). Anyhow, not a whole lot sounds wise this week.....
Eric Random - Subliminal 1980 -82
Cope - Autogeddon
Massive Attack - Protection
The Dead 60's - S/T
Kaiser Cheifs - Employment
Hadn't played this in years (it was a fav' of our teen nippers when it came out, and got played to death in the car). Glad to report it still has some great sing a long tunes. Couple of the tracks even remind me of the sadly defunct Pink Grease.
Fu Manchu - California Crossing
Bowie - Diamond Dogs
John Foxx and the Maths - Evidence
The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys
Maaaan I wish I hadn't given away my Boys Don't Cry 'best buy' vinyl of this all those years ago, thinking it was the same record......now I don't have one of my fav ever Cure tracks - 'World War' anymore :(
Well, that's about it, hope you have a great week, and that U.S. East Coast weather bomb doesn't drop on us later in the week.
