America Here & Now Sessions - Expo Seventy
I came across these recently and got my hands on this pretty much straight away. Should appeal to fans of the likes of Follakzoid and Mugstar.
Amrita – Loop Guru
I never rated this as highly as their fab debut, Duniya, but hearing it in its own right all these yeasr later it is still a damn fine album.
How The West Was Won – Peter Perrett
Strangely enough I don't think I ever totally gave up on us having another PP release of some variety to savour, but now it's out it suddenly seems rather amazing that there is one! Anyway, it's really very good – very like The Only Ones obviously – and the production is top notch.
Animals Suns & Atoms – Tarwater
Quite simply one of my favourite albums of the past twenty years.
Endless Nights – Vacant Lots
Recent album from Alan Vega endorsed duo and indeed he makes an appearance on the closing track here. And for those who like him and already aware there's a posthumous Vegaa album out any time now.
