I'd heard a few of these things, including a version of "I Feel Love" but they didn't quite hit the spot. This, however, is something else. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm already linking friends to it and planning tomorrow nights after work relax time around it. Also one of those bittersweet moments when I wish my Dad was still around so I could play it for him. I've had a shit week. That really sorted me out. A great music forum moment for me. Many thanks.

You're probably aware of this one, but the Coil album Timemachines is a great drone record. That latest Urthona CD/DL over on bandcamp is pretty good too.... https://urthona.bandcamp.com/album/the-other-without Copeys Odin can do the trick, if your in the right headspace. Sure there are many more I Could recommend, but don't have access to my record collection right now.

Medicine did a really melodic drone rock on their first couple of lps Shot Forth Self living and The Buried Life. May be too rock form for you but a heavier more melodic MBV.

The slowed down bieber thing is great, i just wanted to mention that on youtube there is an 800% slower version of Nick Drake's Pink Moon. God damn its beautiful, it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, its like looking into Nick's head somehow.
