Well The Unutterable and Middle Class Revolt are probably my favs. I also picked up the 6 disc Peel sessions which covers the first 25 years or so, and was going cheap on mp3 a year or two back.

I understand that people might connect it with the Arena bombing too, but given that Mr. Melling was assaulted on a train leaving Manchester Victoria I'm assuming that's what the song is really about. not in the best of taste either way.

That Peel box is terrific, not for the faint hearted but so much quality. G/F didn't especially enjoy the 6 discs consecutively.

Gotta admit, it's an estimable set of recordings but my ears begin to get tired during the Brix years. The sound of the wrong kind of ambition.

I actually have that cheap collection. Found it in a cutout bin years ago and it is quite great.
