Deerhunter - Cryptograms, Micro Disney. Yes to the former, no to the latter. Great psych soundscapes when on form. Dungen - 4. Not that keen really Michael Chapman - Rainmaker, The resurrection and revenge of the Clayton Peacock. Can - Monster Movie Elbow - Cast of Thousands, Seldom Seen Kid. Still rather enjoy these two, although material since hasn't quite held my attention Tom Waits - Bad as Me. Not sure yet

They were selling the new 'Modern Kosmology' album on their merch table, as it was released that day. I've been playing it, pretty much, ever since. That opening track H>A>K is a belter! I haven't been able to see her yet.She isn't playing Scotland until November (Glasgow) - hopefully catch her then. Yes the new album has had several plays here. That opener is very fine - Faust Krautrock from Faust 4 comes to mind. My personal fave on Modern Kosmology so far is "Loops In The Secret Society" so wonderfully Stereolab which in turn nods to Neu! and the Velvets.

La Düsseldorf - La Düsseldorf La Düsseldorf - Viva There's just been a cheap box set of the 3 lps put out, going for about £10 on Amazon marketplace. So I've been listening to these too. Aha, many thanks for the heads up there! That is a must for me.

Yes, Stereolab's influence are all over this album. I'm also hearing Dubstar in a few tracks, too.
