Last batch... or this will consume my life...

21) Ever Fallen in Love - Fine Young Cannibals
22) Help! - The Damned (surely the definitive version?)
23) Hanging Upside Down - Balanescu Quartet (a few cracking Kraftwerk takes, too)
24) Waiting for the Man - OMITD (two nerdy Wirral kids doing Lou Reed. Yeah, right.)
25) When the Ship Comes In - post Shane Pogues do Dylan
26) Take Me to the River - Talking Heads
27) On Broadway - Numan (for surely one of the greatest live synth solos of all time - Billy Currie's trademark ARP Odyssey making like an electronic Jimi Hendrix)
28) Xerox Machine - Client
29) Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! - Erasure (There's the Abba-esque EP as well... not keen on the later covers album, though)
30) Sympathy for the Devil - Ferry
31) Loverman - Martin Gore (the sheer gall of the man taking on Nick Cave... still undecided whether this works, to be honest)
32) The Night - Soft Cell (I'll always be a sucker, not only for Mr Almond's voice, but for the attitude)
33) I'm in Love with a German Film Star - Dubstar
34) Words - The Christians (not strictly a cover, since the guys added original lyrics to the traditional melody from Mná na hÉireann - check out a version on Chieftains 4. For me searing lyrics complementing one of the most beautiful refrains ever.
35) Ziggy Stardust - Bauhaus
