Some of the 70s brazilian folk psych on Mr Bongo is great. A lot of it is up on their website as soundfiles too. Cds are cheap as is p+p. But do wish linernotes were longer than the obi.

Waiting for Last Exit Iron Path to arrive. Should be good.
As should the Aztec remaster of Blackfeather At The Mountain of Madness. Early 70s Aussie heaviosity.

Currently listening to the Charly remaster of 13FE Psychedelic Sounds which I mamaged to buy on Roky's birthday without being aware of it. Sounds as great as ever

David Bowie - Buddha of Suburbia S/T.

Don't quite know how I overlooked this for so long. I suppose it hasn't been available as a release all that long?

Yeah both of those were great.

latest thing may be Icecross' s/t lp from '73 which has serioulsy evil sounding guitar in places. There was an officila reissue on Rockadrome last year that sounds fantastic.

Also the guitars on Culpeper's Orchard are pretty tasty.

But also been gettinng into Jacques Brel through a Promo best of.
& Ornette Coleman through the Beauty Is A Rare Thing box of the complete Atlantic recordings.

& right now some Miles davis from the complete Cellar Door sessions

Currently enjoying The Ribeye Brothers Call oh the Scrapheap at the moment, only realised it was in existence the other week so making up for the 9 months I'd not heard of it!

I've never got round to buying that. Probably too close in time to Tin Machine!

I think at least one of the tracks is on a rather fine Bowie instrumentals compilation, the name of which I forget (All Saints maybe?)

I think you are correct - I would imagine the track in question would be The Mysteries which has a Low vibe to it

Yep, and also Ian Fish UK Heir.

I've just been listening to the instrumentals comp (it is called All Saints), so thanks for the prompt :)

now that is an unusual title for a song! So unusual I just had to go and check that it existed and you weren't making it up. I've never been sure which format my smiley should take but I will plump for 8], although is that a smile?

Been enjoying the second Beak album >> again - I recently picked up a tour version of the CD in a box with another CD of some live recording (I think, there's no recording info). It's very good, big dense blankets of sound over their general motorik rhythm stuff.
