being a Zep freak, I am def looking forward to these.
However, there is some sadness with what Page had been picking for the 2nd companion discs.
There have been some gems, but rough mixes aren't doing it for me.
They're simply unglossed versions of the same takes I have burned into my psyche.
I wanted ALT takes of these songs, and outtakes & unreleased songs...We got some, but I have all the studio outtakes on boots, and there is so much more out there.
...for the new releases of the final 3, I am again excited, and wonder how diff any of the songs will be.
There is the St Tristans Sword song, and some other...Nob?....I dunno what these'll be, but am excited still.
My big hope is that they'll release the "full" version of All My Love.
Its missing the synth solo from JPJ in the middle, but where the song fades on the original, the full version kicks into overdrive for another 3 minutes or so with Page soaring and flying, while Plant keeps singing about being lonely...its great...It was a joy and revelation when I 1st heard it 25 years ago, and I hope the rest of the world gets to enjoy it to.
Here it is for you all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtozK953yas
