Amon Duul II – Made In Germany.

Black Sabbath – Never Say Die. Underrated.

James Brown – The Payback.

Chrome – Half Machine From The Sun.

English Heretic – The Underworld Service. At times drones over intriguing spoken word samples, at others the best possible hybrid of Hawkwind and Clinic, even managing to rope in a Portishead feel. I think this is great, if only for the bare faced sample of Albatross. Extra kudos for being at least partly inspired by The Peregrine, the frighteningly strange nature book by J A Baker.

Kollektion 1 Sky Records Compilation – Tim Gane from Stereolab did the boot work and has done a good job. Seems to be the first in a series compiled by different musicians. My knowledge of this stuff is far from comprehensive so I perhaps got more out of this than many here. Includes tracks by Moebius, Moebius & Beerbohm, Moebius & Plank, Michael Rother, Cluster, Roedelius (lots of), Asmus Tietchens, Riechmann, and Günter Schickert.

Rain Parade – Explosions In The Glass Palace.

Lee Scratch Perry – Arkology.
Ty Segall – Manipulator. Really enjoyed this. Psychedelic glam pop. Keeps its quality throughout.
