MIne could be them at the Hummingbird in Birmingham in '87 or maybe that was just cos I kept leaning into the bass bin to get more.

Can't really think outside of that. I think they were spectacularly loud at the time and were referring to the next tour as being acoustic because they became a bit quieter, then actually started using acoustic instruments on the following tour.

Also just reminded that I think somebody nicked a tshirt of mine at the Hummingbird show that I'd taken off and put in a shelf somewhere. Only thing was it was a shirt from my uncle's Kenyan life insurance company so wonder how fast that got dumped.
