I remember reading in a Drudion how he wears a stab vest every time he's in the city. He obviously thinks about personal safety.

I was at the Manchester Pogues gig last week, and when they played the last song, the crowd in the balcony were jumping up and down, and I could feel the balcony shake. Didn't like it one bit - I walked out! Afterwards I was explaining to someone, and was saying how once that thought of the balcony collapsing was in my mind, there's no way I could be a happy bunny. I felt silly after, as I know these balconies are built well and I felt a bit cowardly, (but will admit I felt a bit of a chill when I read about the ceiling collapse in the London Theatre).
If I was playing at a publicised Belfast event, and I read there's bombs going off there...I dunno. I honestly don't know how I'd feel about that.
