Necks gigs

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster... The Necks have recently announced a September England and Ireland diddytour on their website. Unless they add more, as it stands the only English shows apart from the usual London one are in Bristol and Manchester. Belfast and Dublin for Ireland. I saw them for the first time in Leeds last year, and, although they only played one long number instead of the usual two as the gig was a twofer with Harold Budd, I reckon it goes down as one of my best ever live experiences - transporting and gobsmackingly intense... and there's only three of 'em..and its all acoustic with no tricks: incredible. This from someone old/decrepit and lucky enough to have seen the likes of Can and Magma. I can't force anyone to go, but.. Anyway, I've got my ticket for a trip over the Pennines, and yes, the gigs will sell out. A huge thankyou to whoever it was on here who first made me aware of what is now my favourite extant band.
