is fusion orchestra 2 an updated version of Fusion Orchetsra who did the Skeleton In Armour LP - surely, it is?

Apparently so. The guitarist is, I believe, the only original member and I think they were there at the behest of Lee Dorian (Of Catherdral and Rise Above records) as he is a fan of that old album. I've not actually heard THE album but am keen now. Hopefully there'll be new music happening. They were really good at any rate and I'd love to see 'em again!
I've got slightly more positive thoughts than Sin re: Out of the Coma. I think I preferred the live renditions of the 3 new songs than the recordings, but I do like the new songs nevertheless. I think it'd be next to impossible to recreate the vibe of that amazing first album but I think that for a band who's comeback seemed (I was told) to be an act of happenstance, and as much as a surprise to them as anyone, that the new material is pretty encouraging; has a lot to enjoy lurking within and I'm glad they're doing it.
Actually, as I said elsewhere, regarding "The Malgaard Suite", Sin Agog is totally right to warn of it's sonic shortcomings, but, if I'm honest, I'm amazed how 'good' it sounds given where it was sourced from and how long it's been rotting in obscurity. More basoons in rock!
Oh yeah, and the Roger Wootton sleeve art is pretty fucked up. In a good way!
