Definately not a Merlin engine

Saw them last night in Brighton.... Public Service Broadcasting @ The Green Door Store, Brighton - 11 November 2012 Public Service Broadcasting @ The Green Door Store, Brighton - 11 November 2012 J. Willgoose, Esq. and Wrigglesworth sample old public information films and archive material and set them to new music. Live, the films are screened simultaneously as laptops are fiddled with, drums are pounded, theremins are wafted at, guitars are bashed and banjos furiously plucked. Teaching the lessons of the past through the music of the future. Public Service Broadcasting @ The Green Door Store, Brighton - 11 November 2012 Having been given unique access to propaganda films from World War 2 by the BFI, Public Service Broadcasting released the War Room EP to critical acclaim and heavy backing by BBC6Music. Expect breathtaking visuals, brooding synths and pounding drums as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future. I had a wonderful evening enjoying the musical and visual delights of Public Service Broadcasting at a sold out The Green Door Store. All the band's banter and interaction was done via computer which was quite amusing. Computerised voices ask "Are you having a good time?", after a moderate cheer the voice retorted "I said are you having a good time?!" to an even bigger cheer. If you've seen any of the bands videos then you'll know what to expect, if you haven't, then don't delay, have a gander... Everest video London Can Take It video What's not to love eh? PSB Facebook page PSB band website Band interests: Archive material. Corduroy. Elbow patches. Also, music.
