Torche - Meanderthal. Loves 'em and I have the newie in me bag to play as soon as I get home.

Comus - Out of the Coma. Loving it. The three new songs manage to sound even more unhinged than when live and the "Malgaard Suite" recording from 1972 is amazing. Ok, the quality isn't crystalline, but something that's been sourced from an old Sony cassette gig-recording, left in a box for decades and lovingly de-knackered shouldn't sound as good as this!
Apparently more new material is in the Comus Gestation pod.

Orbital - Wonky. Reunion albums can always be something of a get-the-fear happening, but this is truly stunning! Up there with the best of their stuff I'd say.

Comus, Fusion Orchestra 2 and Purson at the Borderline on Saturday Night. All three bands were great; a proper night of top tunes and atmos. Brill night! Yay!
