I saw them last weekend -- fortunately they didn't take the jazz thing too seriously in the show (they're great space rock musicians but really don't have "that swing"). The first number was the only jazzlike tune, though it did seem like they were using Miles-inspired transitions between some of their songs (everybody stops cold for a Pete Cosey-style solo guitar freakout, or a funky bass thing with no accompaniment, as was the style in Miles live 70's performances.) Bassist did some scat singing which was amusing, and occasionally blasted on some sort of horn (simran, or just soprano sax?)

They're already selling "Son Of A Bitches Brew" at shows (I do love the cover art!) Too bad I was broke, I haven't heard it yet!

I think there is another new one out too -- I recall their encore song "Chinese Flying Saucer" as being one of the track titles, but forget the album name.
