Yes, I think so. The guy had that dinky little tripod pictured - and I think that case, too. To be honest I was more taken with the hurdy gurdy and bagpipes he'd turned up with. He's a top musician.

Thanks. This is probably more suitable, as far as I can tell, for close contact guitar/vocal, as I generate quite a lot of noise in the process! Vashti Bunyan (Goddess) I ain't!

I use the H4n for band practices and remote locations and like it a lot.
Probably the same pres and converters...
