Ahh! OK, well that's your take on it then. I know that with all art every person does have a different view on what it represents. Of course I didn't say Beat Crazy was a bad album, certainly not because the political contents are unfashionable or easily misunderstood. If Jackson really didn't want to be seen as a Rightist it still appeared that way at first anyways. But politics aside it's still a bit disturbing, not that that's bad, but it's not a pretty album. I'm still a fan of Joe Jackson regardless -- he still remains a very multifaceted songwriter and he always stuck me as someone intelligent enough to even manage to make something like Beat Crazy brilliant no matter what I or anyone else would think of it.
