A fine and under-rated slice of 80s UK psych. Sadly unavailable on any format now. I used to see them live quite abit back in the mid-80s - they probably played the Fetcham Riverside Club (our one local venue) more times than any other group bar the Cardiacs. Read a couple of years back that one of the two singers (Craig Lindsey) had died, and also heard on the grapevine that the other singer (Nick Jones) had gone a bit loopy from doing too much acid.

Have you heard their other album "Friday the 13th Live at the Marquee"? It's equally good but a very different beast, with a far rawer, more garage punk-orientated sound.
