Heard today that Copedium is being published in June and there is a limited edition prior to that... anyone know anything more on this? Can't find anything here yet. Who's the publisher and where can we get a copy? |

From what I can gather Julian's Compenduim will be published by faber & Faber in the UK. "a collection of Cope's writing on music, culture" If there is a limited signed edition then expect it to be the around th £100 mark as has been the case with recent faber limited's like the Jarvis Cocker Mother Brother Lover. £100 in a slipcase limited to 100 copies. Start saving now! According to Julian's literary Agent United Agents web page "Julian is currently working on three new books, the first to be published in 2012, provisionally entitled LIVES OF THE PROPHETS, 131 and COPE'S COMPENDIUM. Watch this space!" Just found this from the New Lou Reeeds facebook page "This just in: New Lou Reeds to be featured in new Julian Cope book, "The Cope Compendium," out in June! Dangerous Minds | New Julian Cope books coming www.dangerousminds.net Regular readers of this blog know that we’re all big Julian Cope fans, so this is great news. The idea of a best of collection of writing from Head Heritage, his sprawling website seems especially appealing to me, but the idea of a Cope-penned novel will be Nirvana for fans. His most recent write....." cheers Richard

Got info from Faber and Faber - apparently is a limited edition of 150 copies, each with a ticket to a Solstice reading by the man himself. Includes 2 cds to listen to while reading and should be around £200 I think.
