I'm completely in love with this album. The grower that keeps on growing. Really hitting the spot for me.
My favourites are Raving On The Moor, Vive Le Suicide, Cromwell in Ireland, Hooded and Benign, X-Mass in the Women's Shelter, Because he was Wooden, The Death of Rock n Roll. Oh y'know what, it's all spiffing!

ooh! I've gone and looked at the right forum this time! Was about to think we weren't allowed to discuss the new album!
Typically me i like all the 'obvious singles' the best (Suicide, Cromwell and Revolutionary), side two didn't leave as much of an impression even though the latter refrains from X-Mas kept wafting round me head - that and Because He Was Wooden having that "this is going to infiltrate your mind when it's in neutral and the cd's switched off regardless (i blame the glockenspiel)" thing type thing.
But I have to go with Revolutionary Man second for it's utterly bonkers prankishness. Cromwell In Ireland is first cuz it's moody.
Oh bloody hell Hooded And Benign is grander.
