A Good Ear, a Sophisticated Nose and a Frothy Head

Yes, that's Landells, the author of this marvellous blog for beer loving music heads:

http://rocknrollbeverage.wordpress.com/

I think it's a brilliant idea for a blog actualy, and it makes great reading.

Very kind of you to say so, Mr Cat. I think the music review part let it down a bit but hopefully they'll improve as I go

Hey mr landells, I'm guessing you'd rather go to Netherlands to see SSAC then have them come over here. Yah, for sure! Enjoyed reading that, was Tony your mate on the trip?

In order to protect the guilty, I cannot confirm nor deny if Mr AQK was with me in the Netherlands... but without him it is doubtful if I would even know that the Auto Club even existed

I'd love to see them play in the UK but that wouldn't stop going abroad to see them - always a pleasure

At least with the RAC they come to me. Mind you, I can't get a note out of the bastards.

Thanks to Squid for posting the link!

I think it's great. Really funny but the enthusiasm really shines through. It looks like it's fun to write and that comes over really well.

What an amazing idea for a blog! Craft beer and music; my two greatest passions*. Bookmarked without hesitation!

It's not very often you see anyone refer to a beer as 'one of their top beers of 2011' but I'm totally one of those guys too.

Three great beers I first tried in 2011;

i) Nøgne Ø #500 Imperial India Pale Ale
ii) Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Grand Cru Reserve
iii) De Molen 'Hel & Verdoemenis' Russian Imperial Stout

Three overall/all-time favourites;

i) Trappistes Rochefort 10
ii) Victory Storm King Imperial Stout
iii) Dogfish Head 'Palo Santo Marron'

I've stayed away from most beer discussion on here so far as people's interests seem to be in 'CAMRA approved' 'Real' Ales for the most part, which isn't my thing. Generally Imperial Stouts, Belgian Quadruppels, & Double IPAs are my drinks of choice.
